Firm's Attorneys Obtain Favorable Arbitration Award on Behalf of Nationwide Restaurant Franchisor

The Firm’s attorneys, Robert Harris, Carrie Berger and Daniel Dorfman, succeeded in a high stakes arbitration in favor of their client, a nationwide restaurant franchisor, regarding the fair market value of the assets of a franchisee who operated more than 40 restaurants in Louisiana. The arbitration panel rejected the franchisee's valuation of more than $31,000,000 and determined that the assets were worth substantially less than the encumbrances on the assets. The arbitration was before two former federal judges and a well-regarded franchise lawyer.
