We are dedicated to being partners with our clients in achieving their interests. We provide clients with the highest quality of legal services by striving for the best possible outcome, measured by our clients' stated goals and objectives.
Our Firm is committed to efficient management of all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial and appeal. We excel at tactically meeting our clients’ goals, fully analyzing cases from the outset, focusing on creative dispute resolution and employing results-oriented strategies.
Our attorneys have outstanding credentials, complemented with significant experience. We have been recognized in the legal community including being distinguished as some of the Best Lawyers in America™, the Top 5% of Lawyers in Illinois according to the Leading Lawyers Network, Illinois Super Lawyers, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, The Legal 500 United States, and Martindale Hubbell's highest "AV" rating.
We have a diverse client base which includes major U.S. publicly-held companies, privately-held businesses, partnerships and joint ventures who operate in virtually all business sectors, high net worth and entrepreneurially minded families and individuals, trusts and estates, tax exempt organizations, and cultural and academic institutions, each of whom trust us with some of their most difficult and highly-contested disputes. We are able to attract sophisticated clients for significant cases because we are able to provide top-level legal talent, client-driven service and lower costs than many larger firms. We do this by avoiding many of the layers of overhead and staff that add unnecessary costs to cases.
We focus our practice in four core areas: Complex Commercial Litigation, Construction Litigation, Construction Transactions, and Tax Controversy and Tax Planning. Our national practice involves a broad range of cases on behalf of large sophisticated businesses, including complex breach of contract disputes, construction disputes, intellectual property disputes, tax controversy and other tax matters, and other claims. We also provide ongoing transactional representation including tax planning services for many of our clients.
